Downtown
I used to think happy hour was very limited in downtown. And while this is true on Lower Broad proper, there are many spots all over downtown to find some great deals.
Around Lower Broad
Black Rabbit (4â6PM Mon-Fri; 10AM-6PM Sat): Black Rabbit claims to have the âbest happy hour in Nashvilleâ. All beers are $2 off and they have $6 pre-made drinks and house Pinot. The pork tacos (4â6PM only) are excellent and this one is nicely located near Printerâs Alley.
Blue Sushi (Open-6:30PM Mon-Sat; all day Sunday): Ine of the more extensive happy hour menus. Domestics at $4.75, sake bombs for $4.25, and Kirin draft for $5.5/$11. Sake from $5.5 to $8.75, and $6.75 wines. Cockatils from $7.75-$10. Also numerous Share Plates and a wide variety of nigiri, maki, and sashime on sale, 25% to 50% of the regular menu.
Boqueria (): While I prefer The Iberian Pig for tapas, Boqueria has a more extensive set of tapas for happy hour, ranging from pan con tomate for $2 up to a mini hamburguesa for $12. Croquetas (2 types), patatas bravas, patatinas, and churros Clasicos are all $6, Bikini for $8, and Bocadito de Jamon for $9. Wine is $9 a galss, or $22 for a caraffe, martinis for $7 ($8 for erspresso), Sangria for $8 or $32 a pitcher, $6 cerveza, and a Shishito Margarita for $9 or $29 a pitcher.
Deaconâs New South (4â6PM weekdays, bar or Cliffâs): Nelson Green Brier Old Fashioned or wines for $8. House cocktails for $9. Pea hummus or crustini for $8, asparagus fries or Nashville hot edamame for $9, and tenderloin sliders, Shrimp ceviche, or fried oyster sliders for $10. They also have great bourbon flights.
Gannonâs (3â6PM every day): Oysters are $12/half dozen. Additional, you get $5 beer, $7 wine, and $8 cocktails.
Although focused on vintage clothing, Garage Sale Vintage features $4 canned beer, $5 drafts, $6 wine, and cocktails from $7-$10. (see more in the next section).
Hard Rock Cafe (???): includes select $3 canned bewer, $5 shots, and $6 cocktails, and $5 appetizers.
Lona (5â6PM Sun-Thurs; 4â6PM Fri & Sat): Select tapas for $6-$8, along with $5 beer, $6 wine, and $7 cocktails.
Pucketts (3â6PM weekdays): $2 off beer (draft & bottle), $7 Marshall Family wines, and $2 off all cocktails and other wines. Also have fried pickles, fried green beans, smoke sliders (2 brisket, 2 pulled pork), or 1/2 dozen cherrywood-smoked wings for $8.

The Cellar Bar has 2â4â1 drafts on Sunday, and discount prices on other drinks. In general, this is one of the better bars price-wise in the downtown area.
The Finch (3â6PM weekdays): Oysters are $3, Szechuan Chicken for $6, Tzatziki & Feta for $7, Meatballs and Volcano Rock Shrimp for $8, and Salmon Crudo for $9. PLus house wines for $9.
Tin Roof (2â7PM weekdays, Monday all day): $3 domestics, $4 wells, $5 select shots, $6 call liquor and chicken and jack quesadillas. Wednesdays are $5 white claws, Thursday 9PM-Close: $4 wells and Benny shots, $5 32 oz drafts, and $6 Sun Cruisers. Saturday, 11â6PM, $20 domestic buckets, $25 premium buckets, and $30 seltzer buckets.
SoBro & Pie Town
City Winery (4â6PM): Half off all tap wine and, yes, they make their own wine.
Etch (4â6:30Pm): One of the best for happy hour. $10-$16, but include a duck tart, calamari, and capaccio. Chefâs kiss. You also have beer for $5, $7 wine, and featured $9 cocktails, often including a smokey old fashioned. In my building, so a regular haunt of mine.| Farmhouse (Tues-Fri 3â6PM; Sat 2â6PM): 2â4â1 beer and $6 cocktails (premade, but very well themed). Go for the pimento beignets (weird sounding, but it works), pork belly and peaches over grits, and deviled eggs.
Fogg Street Lawn Club (3â6 PM): $6.95 drafts (foreign/craft), $12.95 cocktails, $8.95 jack & coke, $5 off wonton rolls. You can also curl during the winter, or lawn bowl during the warmer months.

Husk (5â6PM Mon-Thurs + Sunday): $12 punch, $13 Old Fashioned, $5 beer, and $12 wine, but their $23 burger and fries is one of the best chefâs burgers in town. They also have pimento cheese with pie crust for $11 and a plate of country ham for $18 (Love it, but stick away from sodium most of the time). Sunday also has $30 wine specials. I also love to get a bourbon flight at the bar, as they always have great selection.
JWB Grill (3â7PM Weekdays): This is in the Margaritaville and stands for Jimmy William Buffet Grill. $1 off draft, $5 wells, $8 margs. Also do wine down Wednesdays with buy 1 glass get 1/2 off second.
Pinewood Social (3â5PM Mon-Thurs; Frid-Sun 4â6PM): In addition to bowling and other games, they have one of the most extensive food menus for social hour. $5 bartender pours, $8 wine, and $10 classic cocktails. Also a variety of bar bites, from $13 tots or $15 brocolli orcauliflower, to $16 wings or blackened chicken sandwich or $18 burger. I usually get the $2 oysters,$14 white bean hummus and split a chipotle avocado salad for $15 ⊠add chicken for $8, shrimp or salmon for $11, or steak for $12.
Zuzu Happy Hour (4â6PM weekdays): One of the newest chain restaurants on 1st Ave S, this is more Asian influenced. Various drinks, from $8 beer all they way up to a $28 sparkling sake sword ski and a $42 martini tower (serves up to 5). Also $9 wine and signature cocktails and $8 house cocktails. Limited on happy hour compared to Blue on Lower Broad, but much better quality sushi.
The Gulch
Federales (Mond-Wed 4â6PM; Sat 3â6PM + late night): $8 queso and many $9 items, including taquitos and quac. They also have $8 shots, $9 margs, and $20 beer buckets. Food wise, I like their lamb quesabirria, which is not on happy hour. For the rest, I would almost prefer hitting Condada Tacos (3â6PM) with $1 off beer and $27 margarita pitchers.
Gumbo Brothers (3â6PM): Where every day is Fat Tuesday (their slogan): $6 drafts, $9 frozen drinks and hurricanes (on tap), $6 wells, $10 house wines and food from $5 to $10. Recently added food back for Fat Tuesday Hour (Okay, I made that one up). $5 fried pickles, fried okra, cup of chickan and sauage gumbo, or red beans and rice. $10 for debris fries and crawfish queso.
Hops & Crafts (5â8PM): This is more of a beer bar, but they do $6 well shots during their happy hour. They do have a limited food menu, as well and people living in the Gulch get 10% off all the time, as do local service industry folk (you can ask from out of town, because the staff will sometimes accommodate).
Iberian Pig (): One of my favorite tapas places. Happy hour a bit more limited, but if you are a pork charcuterie fan, it is worth the stop.
Marsh House (5â7PM): $1.50 oysters and $10 bites, $3 high life ponies, $5â9 for wine, $11 cocktails. The best price on oysters for happy hour. You can also get cheap ponies at any time at Bullet Proof in Germantown.

Otaku Ramen (4â7PM) has various specials. I have not hit happy hour, so not sure exactly what specials they have. Since Bar Otaku closed, I have not been as impressed with Otaku. But it your choice for downtown.
STKÂ (2:30â6:30PM & 9PM to close): $9 cocktails, wine, and $6 beers. Also cheap bites from $3. This is a chain, but you get what are normally $21 cocktails for $9 and they have bites at $3, $6, and $9, including some wagyu items, beef tartare, calamari, and even two burgers and fry combos.
